Slow stitch evolved from ancient textile and needlework traditions. It is currently in use as a way to relax and enter a mindful state while crafting as opposed to worrying about the outcome (though it is nice to have an attractive result.) All stitching is done by hand. This kit is appropriate for beginning slow stitchers on up.

Enclosed in this Victorian vintage fairy slow stitch kit you will find 1 backing fabric piece, heat n bond fusible web, decorative fabrics and trim, embellishments (some vintage, some new), embroidery floss, a large eyed sewing needle and one large fabric piece of a fairy and flower illustration. Everything you need to create a 12 x 12 project or (even better?) a number of smaller ones. There are only minimal suggestions (no instructions) included as you are free to arrange the fabrics however your creativity inspires you. This kit provides quilt shop quality fabrics with coordinating embellishments.
