Slow stitch evolved from ancient textile and needlework traditions. It is currently in use as a way to relax and enter a mindful state while crafting as opposed to worrying about the outcome (though it is nice to have an attractive result.) All stitching is done by hand. This kit is appropriate for beginning slow stitchers on up.
 
Enclosed in this large Whaler Slow Stitch Fabric Collage Kit A you will find 1 backing fabric piece, heat n bond fusible web, decorative fabrics and trim, text label, embellishments, embroidery floss and a large eyed sewing needle. The fabrics are not castoffs from old quilting projects, rather they are new, and have been carefully sourced in terms of color and texture. So, whatever you create will be beautiful. In this kit is everything you need to design a 12 x 12 project or (even better?) a number of smaller ones. You will receive one illustrative fabric piece of either a sailing ship, lighthouse or both with your kit. Please make your choice at checkout. There are only minimal suggestions (no instructions) included as you are free to arrange the fabrics however your creativity inspires you. This kit provides quilt shop quality fabrics with coordinating embellishments.
